Our family had a great time here. The home itself is beautifully decorated, clean, comfortable and inviting. It and has everything you need and more! Big beautiful kitchen, fully stocked with everything you need. The top deck was a perfect place to enjoy our morning coffee, we loved the Mountain View’s. It gave us plenty of room to have our own space while also giving us wonderful spaces throughout the home to come together and enjoy as a group. The game room was especially fun, we enjoyed all that it had to offer. We were so comfortable, and relaxed we didn’t want to leave. I highly recommend staying here you will not be disappointed.

We really enjoyed our stay at this wonderful Airbnb. The hosts were very flexible with check in/out times and provided handbooks throughout the house for us to refer to. The space was perfect and spacious enough for our families to be able to relax and enjoy each other's company. There was also an entertainment area large enough for all of us. The Airbnb was very clean and had all the supplies as listed. We will definitely come back to this Airbnb next year!

We loved staying at Sugar Bear Lodge. It’s beautifully decorated, warm and inviting . We had so. I have fun in the game room playing all the games and activities. The master bedrooms are so comfortable.

We enjoyed taking a walk in the quiet cul de sac. Hanging out in the back deck was lovely peering out at the open forest with our glass of wine offered by the host. We would love to come back.

For anyone looking for the perfect place to stay this is it!! So warm and inviting. It has so many wonderful spaces to relax and enjoy. A game room that will entertain all ages. A kitchen supplied with more than you probably have at home. You don’t need to bring anything but food! The whole house is sparkling clean and I’m very particular. The bedrooms are so inviting and the two masters are like their own suites. The host supplies everything. I have stayed at a lot of Air B&Bs, this is a superstar. I will certainly go back.

What a phenomenal experience!!! We had the opportunity to do a quick weekend getaway with a group of friends and we are so glad we chose this location. From the beginning the communication was fantastic, but that paled in comparison to the location itself. The house was stunning and perfect for our group. The attention to detail and small thoughtful finishes really stood out. Our goal was to go sight seeing, hiking and other outdoor activities but we had so much fun at the house that we never ended up leaving! The game room was incredible and the kitchen had absolutely everything we needed in order to cook all our meals. The house is set up perfect to have a great time together in the common areas and it's so big that there is enough space to have your own retreat if you want. We will definitely be making this an annual trip and we can't imagine staying anywhere else. Thanks so much Mendi for the hospitality and amazing experience!

This place is amazing . It's well kept and has all the amenities and more that you need to enjoy your trip. We went with our family of 14 . We had tons of room and all slept well . The Game room..........WOW !!!

This place was absolutely gorgeous! Lots of space for big families or groups. Spotless clean with all the amenities you need. Games for the kids, comfy couches for the adults, big deck off the top story for beautiful views. This is the place to go!

My husband and I came here to celebrate our 12yr anniversary! This home took our breath away! It’s inviting, beautifully decorated, cozy, clean and the little details are amazing. We actually contemplated driving back home to get our kids so they could enjoy the game room and snow! We will definitely be coming back here to make memories as a family. What we also loved is how safe we felt and the attention to details - there is a manual with all of the information you need, essentials that you may have forgotten in packing and recommendations of local places to dine and see. We are so blessed to have found Sugar Bear Lodge!

We desperately needed a getaway during the pandemic where we could relax, play and even work away from home. The house was very clean and we appreciated the extra measures taken in light of COVID. Plenty of games to play, movies to watch and the convenience of Roku and Apple tv to login into our own accounts. The open kitchen, dining and adjacent deck was perfect for preparing and enjoying family meals. Our host was very friendly and helpful. We highly recommend to others.

This home was perfect for our stay, and better than expected. This gorgeous spacious home has everything you need to relax and enjoy yourself. There were so many thoughtful nice touches. The home had so many different amenities and accommodations that were more than your standard. It was clean, inviting, and you truly feel at home when you stay here. The communication with the host was quick. Thank you. All rental homes should operate and look like this.

The home was absolutely beautiful and the views are breathtaking. My family and I had such a wonderful time make priceless memories. There's truly something for everyone, no need to leave the house but if you do the Village by the lake is lovely.

Absolutely stunning! Pictures don’t do it justice. Home is in a beautiful location and has everything you need. This place is perfect for a big group. Very clean home and well kept. One of the best vacations I’ve ever had. Not only was the house EXACTLY what it said it was on Airbnb, but the host was also very clear, available, and kind. The entertainment room was so great and spacious!

My family stayed at Sugarbear for a long weekend knowing most of the in town entertainment would be closed due to Covid. We didn’t miss a thing as our stay was full of game playing, relaxation and some local hiking. The owners make sure you have everything you need from towels to blankets to pots and pans. It was a touch of luxury packaged in a very comfortable setting.

This was a perfect vacation home. Very spacious with multiple areas to spread

We have stayed here several times. Such a beautiful property. We have stayed here with just the two of us or with small groups several times. It can accommodate larger groups too, several roomy levels, with activities and games available.

It's almost two cabins in one. When you consider what the price is for two rooms in a nice hotel, you realize what a good value this is. Very roomy and well kept. The master suite is larger than any room I've stayed in at a hotel. or even a suite on a cruise.

It has a large kitchen with appliances and full set of kitchen utensils. My wife likes to cook some nights and then we go out for lunch, which we do at the village. Nice view off of the large back deck, you feel like you are alone in the pines. Another plus, it is so close and easy to get to, if you live anywhere in southern California. You are in the pines in less than two hours.

And... you could not find better hosts.

Aside from the awesome property, the management group was fantastic. We went up on a snowy weekend and we were able to check in early - and the communication was top notch - coordinating snow removal of the driveway! Thank you!
